Queen of Quick Cooking – Healthy Granola with Oatmeal, Banana, Nut Butter

This healthy granola recipe is easy to make and leaves you with the perfect healthy snack with no additives!
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 50 minutes
Course Breakfast, Snack
Servings 12 1/3 Cup Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 1 cup nut butter of choice
  • 3 cups whole oats oatmeal
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup chopped nuts of choice
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl mash banana with nut butter and maple syrup.
  • Add oatmeal, nuts and cinnamon and mix until well blended.
  • On a parchment lined baking sheet, using a stiff spatula spread out mixture to a thin even layer.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, remove and turn over the mixture.
  • Spread again evenly on the baking sheet.
  • Return to oven for another 10 minutes and repeat process.
  • After 25-30 minutes the mixture should be ready. Once cooled break into pieces.
  • Store in air tight container.
